Coston / H + R Military Surplus Line Thrower
Coston / Harrington + Richardson Military Surplus Line Throwing Kit has a serial number "CR 750". It has a Top break action. It is Utility Grade with a heavy BBL. It is a 45-70 guage. The barrel measures 1.34 at breech, and .856 at the muzzle. The bore is excellent. The Blue is 95%, there is some spotting on the top left of the barrel 5" from breech, extractor. The sights are a groove on receiver top - No front sight. It has a standard case hardened trigger. It has a standard case hardened hammer that is checkered. The receiver / frame is case hardened 100%. The forend is 7 1/4" Walnut oil finish, excellent condition. The LOP measures 14 3/4" over a red recoil pad. Pistol grip oil finish. There are a couple of mars + scratches, believed to have left the factory that way due to its overall utilitarian finish. Markings are:
